Week 12...The Goats

Wesley decided that Addi needed another goat!  So, instead of bringing 1 home, he brought 3!  Yes, 3!  I could have kill him.  So, I walk in the backyard and he is holding one for Addi to pet and says, "Callie look up there"....I look up and the other female is on my bedroom window ledge!!!!  I mean really???  I know he likes animals and all, but when they are going to camp out right out side of my window....I really need to put my foot down!! 

It gets better...he then tells Addi that her ducks will be here on Wednesday.  Yes, all 15 of them!!!  I mean really....I think this is old macdonalds farm or something!!  We have already tried ducks and they did not last long here.  He says he has a "plan"....we'll see.

Week 11....Lazy

Ok, so it's Thursday and I am just now posting for last week!  I know....Lazy!!!  Not much is going on.  The kids are doing great.  I forgot my camera at mom & dad's so I do not have recent pictures.  Hopefully they come down on Sunday and i can get it back.  I bought some cute spring/easter outfits for the kids.  I am dying to take their pictures in them! 

Mason rolled over for the first time last Saturday!  Problem is....everyone missed it because I had walked outside to get something and Wes and Addi were feeding cows.  When I came back inside, he was on his belly fussing because he didn't like it! lol.  He has not done it since....so we'll see.

Week 10....Great Week!

Well, we got the BEST NEWS EVER this past week!  Mason's CT scan came back completly normal!  Thank GOD!!  We were in shock.  The physician was so sure that mason's suture was fused, but it wasn't.  Call it like you want....God healed him, the physician was wrong, whatever.....All I know is he had lots of people praying for him.....and it worked!  I have never been so relieved in my life.  He still thinks that Mason needs to be "watched" for the next couple of years to make sure the CT did not just miss something.  He said there is a very slight chance that he has a "sticky" suture which will not show up on CT scan, but we will just watch him and see what happens! Now we can all breath and go on about our lives!

We had a great week.  Addi started pre-t-ball with practice on Sunday.  It was lots of fun.  I'll have to post pics later.  We start games in April.  She loved it!  Hopefully I have a little softball player!!!  But, if she doesn't like it...that's ok too....we'll try something else!

Week 9 of 2011

We had a great week.  Wes got to be off work on Saturday so we got to see him a little more than usual.  It was nice!  We played all day in town on Saturday.  Then Sunday we went to church.  Then Addi and I helped Wes move around some cows.  Wes also put a halter on Addi's longhorn heifer that we have in the pens.  She has named her Belle May.....silly girl.  I meant to get pics, but forgot.  I'll try next time.  She seems like she's going to be pretty gentle...we'll see.  lol.  Nobody got hurt, so that's a good thing.

Mason is doing great!  We have his CT scan this Thursday to confirm or hopefully unconfirm the Dr's diagnosis.  We'll see....still praying and having faith that God's will be done!  Otherwise, he is growing, eating like a pig, trying to roll over, and trying to sit up! 

Addison is doing great also!  She loves her little brother to pieces and is so sweet to him....for NOW!  haha.  We all know that will probably change as they grow older!  She is gearing up for T-Ball.  Ma bought her a new bat and glove.  She's been doing a little practicing, but gets bored with it quickly! ha.  Practices start this Sunday.  She is still going to tumbling on Tuesday nights and loves it!  We are going to have a busy busy Spring, but that's ok.  It will be fun!
